Its hard to believe that an entire year has passed since we returned to the helm of Travelers Rest.   Once again we thank our loyal customers, staff and family for enabling us to continue the legacy of Gerhardt and AnneLise Langner.  While we take great pride in the traditions that built Travelers Rest, we also are committed to growing, changing and evolving to suit the discriminating tastes of today’s contemporary customer.  We also recognize that there are certain things about Travelers Rest that even our most loyal patrons don’t realize, so as our anniversary approaches, we thought we’d share our thoughts with a little humor~  more…

Travelers Rest is proud to present Broadway Night with the Robbie Rigo Trio!

They will be performing all the great Broadway tunes!

This performance features Beth Brandon on vocals, Peter Salomon on piano and bandleader Robbie Rigo as the Phantom and Emcee. The trio will also perform many of your favorite standards from Neil Diamond, Frank Sinatra, The Beatles and so much more. Come and and enjoy this amazing show and sing-a-long with Broadway’s best.

Following his standing room only performance on April 5, Robbie will return for two more dates. He will be performing on Saturdays May 18 and June 15 from 7-10pm.

He will be singing the best of Neil Diamond-Beatles-Stones-Sinatra-Eagles-Neil Young-Doors-Eric Clapton-James Taylor-Billy Joel and songs from his CD “Different Sides”

Mother’s Day is just around the corner!!! As usual, we will be open for dinner from noon until 9 pm on Sunday.  Friday or Saturday night are also great times to get the family together to honor mom. Whatever you preference be assured that Travelers Rest will be ready with its top notch menu selections and service. Of course, don’t forget our beautiful grounds for a stroll or some pictures of loved ones.

Our Mother’s Day menu is available through the “Menus” option above or click here. Every selection from the Easter menu is a complete dinner including choice of appetizer, salad, entree, choice of potato, vegetable du jour, dessert and coffee, tea or decaf.

Spring is finally here and the Langner family and the staff at Travelers Rest are busy preparing the gardens and the menus for our full calendar of parties, meetings, special events and of course, for our loyal, regular fine dining patrons.

Throughout the winter months we have successfully hosted numerous evenings of live entertainment and we are planning many more.  Please join us and share your feedback so that we continue to be creative and bring you what you really want.

We welcome you to stop by and visit us, meet our family and let us know what we can do to make any occasion that you entrust us with the most memorable and tasteful experience.

It has been nearly a year now since we have returned to our beloved family owned and operated establishment and we are very excited about our upcoming events and your special affairs.  While we make strides to always grow and improve, we try to remain ever faithful to the values and foundation that was created with YOU, the customer always our priority, since 1961.
